Just yesterday, the start of pride month has begun. The reason why we celebrate it is to honor the month in 1969, when the Stonewall Uprising occurred. This event was a protest in which the gay community began to riot against the police.
Pride month usually begins in June. In this case, 2021’s pride month begins on June 1st and ends on June 30th, meaning that we are currently in pride month. If you are part of the LGBTQ+ community, then maybe you can celebrate in small or big ways! Some are visiting sites where LGBTQ+ history is made while others are just in their room eating cakes!

つい最近、クイーンの映画がテレビで放送されました。
タイトルはボヘミアン・ラプソディ。２０１８年製作の映画です。
それでフレディ・マーキュリーのことを書きました。
彼は素晴らしい歌手です。近所の友人もフレディが大好きです。
亡くなってから３０年も経過しているのに、その歌を聴くと感動して涙がでます。
フレディは曲が大ヒットしたので、有名になり、お金持ちになりました。
しかし彼は孤独だったのです。
私も７０歳になり、人の苦悩や孤独について理解できるようになりました。
また、オスカーワイルドの小説は昔から好きです。彼は偉大な作家です。
彼は小説で「人間の老い」「孤独」「心の葛藤」を鋭く描いています。
人間は、一人ひとりみんな違います。
でも、「みんな違ってみんな良い」という詩が日本にあります。
どんな人も人として尊重される社会を望んでいます。
フレディは、３０年前にエイズで死亡しました。
