readtheory.org is an app that I had run into while looking for some comprehension websites for my upcoming diagnostic tests. My reading comprehension has been quite poor over the last years, and after using this website for just about a day or two, my comprehension skills drastically improved!
The thing that separates this website from the other comprehension websites is that it gives an explanation for each answer: how it is correct and how it is not correct. Another aspect of this website is that the format. The format is very clean and makes a good approach to readers who are not interested in improving their comprehension. Last but not least, the website also tracks your progress, when you improve or move downgrade levels, and gives you a goal for your age and grade.
Out of all these three aspects, I would say the thing that aided me the most was the explanation of the answers. For example, readtheory.org taught me to not make inferences when not included in texts. There may be some points in the article that might partly relate to one of the multiple-choice answers, but if it doesn’t explain the choice fully, then it is probably wrong. Sometimes the answers might be a smaller idea rather than a big idea to one of the multiple-choice answers, but it still fills the definition of the answer. So, this answer would be correct.
I would definitely recommend this website to others, and it’s rare for me to say this. I have never found any website that has ever helped me with comprehension, but this is the only exception. If anyone reading this has any other website to recommend me, then be sure to post a comment! This way others can read your comments as well so they can improve their comprehension.
Thank you for reading!

たくさんの本を読んでいる人の方が読解力は高いでしょう。
それは文字や文章に慣れ親しんでいるからです。
書かれている内容が早く理解できれば、読むことが苦になりません。
最初からすらすらと読める人はいないと思います。
もし理解できないときは、理解できるまで繰り返し読んでいると
難しい文章も徐々に理解できてきます。何事もあきらめずに
続けることが秘訣だと思います。😊

Thank you! In the past, actually in first grade, my sister force me to read a book then summarize it to her, sometimes even making me write a summary of the whole book!
It did not help that much since I was very lazy. When I finish fourth grade, she brought me into a library and forces me to read. I still remember every day, the feeling of finishing multiple books.

Nice, but I hate reading………… and I don’t even know basic grammar.

Since I know you, I know that you have trouble with present and past tenses. To fix them, I recommend researching the past and present tenses of words, such as “fixed” and “fix” or “eat” and “eating.” You can find these practices on IXL, but it costs money. You can also download Grammarly, which you can download on chrome extensions. Another tip is to practice writing stories or articles every now and then to practice basic grammar. You can take notes on a piece of paper. Hope I helped! 😀

Actually, I knew a lot of past tense. When I was in last year’s summer. My sister helped me practice my grammar such as “is to was, are to were, even begin began begun.” Wait am I right? I don’t use it a lot because I always forgot to. Even when writing an essay to my teachers, I seem to focus more on my ideas and writing itself that I tend to forget to use them.
